1. Product Overview
Double-gauge valve is a commonly used tool in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance and installation, also known as manifold pressure gauge set. It uses two pressure gauges to measure the pressure on the high-pressure side and low-pressure side of the refrigeration system respectively, to assist technicians in judging the system operation status, charging refrigerant and other operations.
2. Component Function
Pressure gauge: Generally, the blue interface is connected to the low-pressure side to measure the suction pressure; the red interface is connected to the high-pressure side to measure the exhaust pressure. The pressure value (in units of psi, bar, MPa, etc.) is often marked on the dial, and some are also marked with the corresponding refrigerant temperature value, which is convenient for comparison and judgment of the system status.
Valve: There is a manually controlled needle valve inside, which controls the refrigerant flow, system vacuum and refrigerant charging by rotating the opening and closing degree of the valve.
Interface: There are multiple interfaces for connecting refrigerant cylinders, vacuum pumps, refrigeration systems, etc. to realize the pipeline connection between different equipment. Some double-gauge valves also have a sight glass in the middle to observe the flow state of the refrigerant.
3. Refrigerant compatibility
Different dual-meter valves are suitable for different refrigerants, such as the common R134a, R410A, R22, and new environmentally friendly refrigerants such as R1234yf. When using, please make sure that the dual-meter valve matches the refrigerant used in the system.
4. Advantages
Multi-function integration: It can complete multiple operations such as pressure measurement, vacuuming, and refrigerant filling, reducing the tools that need to be carried.
Accurate measurement: It can accurately measure the high and low pressure side pressures of the system, providing a basis for fault diagnosis and system debugging.
